Little update for the masses (all 1 of you)
Ok. So I don't quite have the regular blog schedule established yet. You try getting anything on a schedule with a house full of women.
First off, we're between renters at the moment. Our last renter has left me wondering what they put in the water around here. Whatever it is, it must be good because she was careful not to waste any water on silly things like mopping or cleaning. I can honestly say this was the first time I had ever needed a shovel to clean up after a renter. One person held the bag and I ran a scoop shovel to get the stuff off the floor. After a few nights of working down there I have all the "trash" off the first two levels. The basement is still wall to wall and waist deep but I'm getting to it. I figured the rest of the house needed to be done first so we could start on steaming the carpets and painting the walls. I honestly believe that people living on the street are cleaner than these people were. Anyways, if you wanted to listen to whining you'd be in the other room with your kids and not here reading this. I'll get on to something else.
Melissa is doing well. She's into the every two week checkups at the doctor so we're getting closer. We've got some unofficial names picked out but nothing we're sharing just yet. If you really have to know, show up at the hospital and we'll tell you then. At the last visit the doctor said we were on our way to an eight pounder. That'll be the biggest one we've had. Everything is looking good and the doctor had no concerns. Melissa, on the other hand, is staring to hurt in the hips and is having trouble sleeping. Of course it doesn't help that Drew has felt the need to join us for the past few weeks. Not every night but more nights than not. Pray that Melissa will start sleeping better and that it won't hurt as much to walk. Also, pray that Drew learns to be content in her own room.
On another prayer request kind of note, pray for all the girls. I'm not sure if it's just pre-baby jitters or what. We seem to have a real problem listening and following directions. I'm not sure if it's just lack of sleep or an overstimulated lifestyle or what. I'm sure most of it falls on me from not spending as much time with them as I should. The time that I do spend with them is mostly when I'm tired after working here and there and I'm normally a little short with them. I've always thought that kids are a reflection of their parents (ok not always, when I was a kid I didn't see it). I guess pray for Melissa and me as well that we'll slow down and work on our attitudes in front of the kids. This rental situation has left us both pretty short tempered and snappy.
Well, I guess I need to get back to work. I'll try to get a little more regular on my postings but I won't guarantee anything. Come back in a month or two and I'm sure there will be something new to read.

Please know I'm praying for you guys...for a safe pregnancy, for the girls, and for the house situation.
Oh, and I think you should name the new little one Brandy. Just a thought :)
Well, we hadn't thought of Brandy. As tempting as it is, we're leaning more towards Renee. Maybe for the next thing we have to name.
