Love is in the air.....

Okay, Valentine's day is just around the corner. Before you ask, no I don't know what I'm getting my wife yet. I've given her 3 beautiful kids and 10 years of my life what more could she want? Just kidding, I'll find something, I promise. Anyways, a friend of mine, through some casual conversation got me thinking about the people in my life. I really don't tell the people in my life that I love them often enough. I don't think that they doubt that I love them but I'm sure they'd appreciate hearing it on occassion. I'd also like to take this time to tell them how much I appreciate the things they did for me when I was growing up. Little things we take for granted like supportive parents, safe and protected home life and a positive environment. My friend reminded me that some people out there don't have those things. It's really hard for someone to understand the unconditional love of God when they don't see it lived out in anyone around them. I think that right now, my friend is doing that for someone in his life. I pray that his one good example can negate the past bad examples that his friend has seen.
