Birthday + Tax Refund = WOOHOO!!

Ok, so this year we got our tax refund around my birthday. I had been discussing the idea of picking up a new handgun sometime this year. This seemed like just as good a time as any. After doing some research there was only one that was in my price range. I had never heard of a Hi-Point firearm before so I went to the web to dig up some dirt. I stumbled across many magazine articles saying that they were good for what they cost. Of course there were also sites that said they were total crap. Kind of like the Chevy man that wouldn't be caught dead in a Ford. After reading through what I could find online, I searched out a local dealer and took a look. Lucky for me, the dealer only lives about 10 minutes from my house. I'm sure we're going to be good friends soon; he had a lot of nice looking guns for sale. Anyways, for the price of what most places wanted for one gun I came home with two. Now, I just need to get practiced up before the girls get of dating age. I should be able to hold them at bay with the rifle but if they make it into the house I can fall back to the handgun. ;)
